I am facing an issue with Sybase procedure cache. When my BW team is triggering process chains they are running into an error with associated job cancelling.
With the logs I got to know it is due to Sybase procedure cache with error [ASE Error SQL701].
I found a note for the same 2155469 - [ASE Error SQL701] THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PROCEDURE CACHE.
But I am facing this situation once in a month. I have verified with the BW team if they are running any expensive or long running statements. But as per their info they ran them as usual.
Please help me to understand the procedure cache usage/release. What all things I need to verify. One more important point is process chains are running as usual if we restart the server. But this is not the right way to do so.
