How to Reset sapsa password

HI Gurus,

I need to reset the sapsa password of a sybase database.

I've already recovered the sa password with the sap note 1872806 - How to set a new password for SA account in Sybase ASE server

but I'm not very familiarised with the ALTER LOGIN and sp_password procedures.

Please help me....
